Power Gem Engineers Private Limited, New Delhi has entered into a strategic business tie-up with Messrs. Bin Shafi Group of Companies, Dubai, UAE to float a Joint Venture Company "BIN SHAFI - POWER GEM ENGINEERING" which is located at Dubai.

The Joint Venture (JV) is a Legal Entity within the parameters laid down by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry for the Type & Class of Business and has obtained the Requisite Trade Licence(s) from the concerned authorities to operate the said business in the United Arab Emirates.

This JV has been formed to look after the business areas like -

1. Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of Power Projects, Electrical Switchyards & Power Distribution     Systems

2. Maintenance /Refurbishment/ Renovation /Augmentation of Captive & Utility Power Plants, Electrical     Switchyards & Power Distribution Systems

3. Retrofit of Old & Outdated Excitation Systems by State of the art, user friendly Excitation Systems

4. Repair & Trouble-Shooting of Large Generators

5. Repair & Trouble-Shooting of Large Power Transformers

6. Supply of Spares for equipment & systems used in Generation, Transmission & Distribution of Electrical     Energy

7. Development of Spares by "Reverse Engineering"

8. Providing "Expert Supervisory & Consultancy Services" for Power Plants and Electrical Transmission &     Distribution Systems

9. Annual Maintenance Contracts for Power Plants

The JV is intended to cater to the Spares & Services requirements of Clients in the UAE / Gulf Region.
